For now I would phrase it like this: my artistic practice is about uncertainty, about stumbling and the impossibility of closed thoughts, objective memories and definite knowledge.
In collaborative work I try to facilitate opening gestures, engaging with bodies and materials towards an idea of listening, that is opposed to simplification and reduction. My drawings form a sort of undercurrent to this, they chronicle fragile investigations and run alongside all other projects and forms.
While I have worked through various topics, like the influence of digital worlds on the body, the machinations of memory or the possibilities of intentional tenderness, this question of how to create openings, stutters or re-imaginations within existing narratives remains a connecting thought.
I'm deeply grateful for all the people who have collaborated on this with me in the past/present/future. For example all people from the archive* of tenderness.
